This Fall has been quite a time for my French Honey and I.

Mostly all good, but a few unexpected health scares that had us on our knees.

Once again, I am reminded how precious is the time we spend with those we love.

I don't usually make new years resolutions, but this year I've decided to just go for it!

They do a wonderful job, and I always look forward to heading over to the

Avenue du Champs Elysées with my French Honey when all the lights are up.

Found another bridge next to the Cathedrale de Notre Dame that was also loaded with these sweet tokens of love.

One of my many weaknesses are antique inkwells.

I keep my eyes open when browsing the shops.

This is my favorite, very Art Nouveau.

I actually use them. I love sending old-fashioned letters.

The scratch of an ink pen is music to my ears.

I use wax seals too...I was born in the wrong century...

Tucked away from the crowds and easy to miss. We were the first ones to arrive for lunch.

We prefer to eat before or after the rush, it is so much more realxing.

It was a bit chilly when we arrived, but once the sun came out we moved

Walking, no running with my other best friend, my Dad.

One of the joys of blogging have been meeting so many talented blog friends.
Tracey Ayton is one of those talented ladies.
She sees life through the Camera's eye!

Tracey is an interior/gardens/lifestyle and food photographer, based out of Vancouver, BC, Canada. Photography has been a passion of Tracey for 15 years, and in her own words, "Having a job that is 99% fun is a gift and meeting people who are at the top of their game is so inspiring.
They've excelled, doing what they love to do, and do it well.
I always hope some of that will rub off on me."

She lives with her husband and a big goofy dog named Griffon.

Join us in Montrichard, France to capture this enchanted area of the Loire Valley. This market town dones both medieval and Renaissance architecture and a hilltop fortress overlooking the Cher waterway. Montrichard also makes a nice homebase for the surrounding areas we will discover the next three days.

A welcome reception will be held on Tuesday evening upon your arrival with appetizers and cocktails. The next three days we will encounter some of the area's best chateaux such as Chateau de Chenonceau, Chateau de Chissay, Chateau du Plesiss-Buerre, and Chateau du Montpoupon. We will also venture to Montresor, which is considered to be one of France's most beautiful villages. On our final day we will explore the local mushroom caves of nearby town Buerre prior to our hosted dinner party at a local restaurant with traditional French cuisine.
