Unexpected Reflection

DSC00892
I saw this beautiful painting in a gallery window in Saint Germain.
The reflection of the window also captured
the shuttered building across the street,
but I still like it.

What do you think?
I think I need photography lessons!

Oh how I love the large canvas. Very Rubinesque. I always imagine what the subject did each day, how they lived. A definite yes, Mimi

I have one kind of like that from Paris-- I took a photo of a new glass walled building but the only thing you can see on the glass in the old building across the street. It's so cool

Oh Mimi,
You don't need any lessons. It's fantastic. It's a beautiful painting but, it is also a reflection of the beautiful shutters that just say 'France'. I love it. It is artistic and offers so much more than an ordinary image.
Have a wonderful week and take some more photographs!! XXXX

That's just beautiful, I love those kind of "accidental" finds... as it says on the top of my blog "For lack of attention a thousand forms of loveliness elude us every day" How many people would not have seen it the way you have? Big Compliment! Love from London x

Bonsoir ma belle amie! Thank you sweet Mimi, for coming to my little mini post! My momma was so cute and as a little girl, she was a pistol! Like her, I was very determined, loud of voice and crowned with a head of black hair that wouldn't quite!!!!

Happy weekend ma belle, Anita

Castles Crowns and Cottages said...

Bonjour ma belle amie! Thank you precious one for visiting and for the compliments! I was honored and forever will be honored to play a small but important part in young people's lives. To think that throughout their career, I will be amongst many others that will pave an important path for them. WOW!

And how are you lovely one?

BISOUS! Anita

Dear Mimi,
I keep coming back to this photo because it makes me think so much of the street where we stayed!

Things are going well here (thank you so much for checking!). I would love to have pastries with you the next time we come to Paris. (Things are strange in our world right now and sometimes the only thing that brings us joy is to say "when" and not "if") Also, I would love to see pictures of any of the patisseries you would visit! I hope I can continue to inspire you with thoughts of places to go!

Wishing you a beautiful weekend in our favorite city!

xo,

Betty
