Snippets 2

Snippets
I love that word!
According to the dictionary a ‘snippet’ is:  a small piece snipped off, a small bit,
scrap, morsel, or fragment
Just for your info as I’m sure you will need to know this -
It is also:  a small or mischievous person.
Hmmm, could be referring to me…?
Okay, now that bit is settled.

 Snippet # 1
DSC02518Once again I was ‘browsing’ the antiques and brocantes,
and happened upon several petite treasures.

Luckily there were smaller treasures tucked inside

DSC02522 Two golden filgree lockets, ivory buckle, tie clip, silver charms,
ladies pocket-knives?!  Quite a varied collection!

Snippet # 2
I found a few other vintage lovelies,
and then I remembered I am way overdue for a giveaway!
I’ll be posting the details this week.
I hope you like it!

I thought you may enjoy a few Parisian window scenes.
Once again I must apologize for the reflection.

The cascades of blooms are paper flowers.
I thought of the talented Noel at Fanciful Designs,  who creates beautiful paper creations.

Tea Anyone?

Tea is popular here in Paris.
This is a good thing for me since I’m still getting used to the very strong café.

Christofle is a good place to start…love the classic shape of this teapot

Now I’m off to find a quiet spot to work on the online magazine.

My Daddy is in Heaven
celebrating with my Mother,
but not a day goes by that I don’t think of him.

Happy Father’s Day to all the great Dads out there!

A special thank you to all these four ladies who have shared these awards.
Your patience is appreciated as I have taken forever to thank you properly.

Take a peek into Kimmy’s glamorous world of fashion, style, manners and the art of living a great life!
The Old Hollywood images will bring you back for more

Debby never ceases to amaze me with all the gorgeous images and beauty she likes to share.
She has the incredible ability to post nearly everyday, and each one is prettier than the last.

Sara Louise has a marvelous writing style as she relates her comic tales
of settling into her new French life in Provence with ‘The Husband…while struggling to learn French.
We have a lot in common Sara Louise!

Jeanne-Aelia is a French woman, born in Tunisia and living in the States.
Her French Eye is used in interior design.  Her blog is filled with beautiful images and
lots of ideas that will have you dreaming of a perfect space of your own.
With this award I am to post photos of seven of my favorite shoes.
Unfortunately, we are in the process of moving and I can’t seem to locate my shoe boxes just now!
I promise to snap some pictures as soon as they are located.
To be continued…
