Happy Father’s Day

I had THE best father in the world
I know.  Every little girl thinks the same
This image reminds me of all the sweet times we had together

My Daddy is in Heaven
celebrating with my Mother,
but not a day goes by that I don’t think of him.

Happy Father’s Day to all the great Dads out there!

Your post is beautiful and I understand how you feel. Both of my folks are gone. I wrote two posts on Father's Day and also a third to link everyone to a bio about how it all began.

Your photo choices were excellent. I loved my dad too and I always thought no one else could have such a marvelous father! Thanks for thinking just like me! Hugs to you sweet friend! Anne

How incredibly sweet and heartfelt. I don't think all daughters are lucky enough to have wonderful Dad's. So, I am glad to hear you were blessed. I am sure he shaped just how wonderful you are today.

Dearest Mimi,
Are you attempting to make me cry on this lovely, sunny Father's Day? :-)
Your words about your father being in heaven along with your mother ring true for me and so many others as well.
I love how eloquently you expressed your love for him, he must have been a complete jewel.
Happy Father's Day to your lovely father, cheers!

Oh Mimi,
What a wonderful post and a fitting tribute to your Father. My Dad died in 2008 and I miss him everyday.

Dearest Mimi,
in Italy we celebrate Father's Day on March 19 but I'd like to join you inn expressing your feeling about your dad all the same. also my parents are both in heaven but just like you not one single day goes by that I do not think of them.
I'm so thankful for my dad and for th things he taught me.
it was two years yesterday since my mother passed away so my gratitude for having had an angel for a mother is today stronger than ever.
p.s. sweet and tender picture.

This brought tears to my eyes. You are truly an amazing woman for all that you have accomplished in your life...even to the point of living around the world and living a dream. I'm sure your dad would be so proud of you! I can't imagine how hard this day was for you, but you have inspired me through this post to cherish every memory with my loved ones.

I got your email by the way..I'm so excited. Write you back soon!

Dearest Mimi,
Thanks for taking the time to post about Father's day. I am so sorry your father is no longer here to celebrate this day with you. You are so blessed to have had such a great man as your dad. Nothing can take away those memories, though. I hope your day was a happy one reminiscing about the special times you shared together. There is nothing better than the love of a parent, especially a daddy.
I hope you are having a wonderful day!
