Oh how funny, we picked up some of these from one of the chocolatiers on Blvd. St. Germain when we were in Paris two weeks ago! I had to convince le monsieur that they were indeed almonds and not olives.

You must know this is an addiction for me!! There is a candy store that sells hand dipped chocolates that ARE TO DIE FOR!! Every birthday I waltz in, buy myself a box of chocolate covered almonds and enjoy every bite WITHOUT GUILT. Only on my birthday, do I do this. But I have zero willpower when they are around so I try to stay away...this is my favorite candy of all!

I bought 6 bags of these a few hours ago, the Wal Mart version, my husband is slightly addicted to them! :)
