Images of Provence

Back from a wonderful long weekend in Provence.
Here are a few photos you may enjoy.

Palais des Papes

Beautiful views of Mont Ventoux

The flower markets are always fabulous

Provencale tablecovers

Found this gorgeous hotel...Les Frênes Hostellerie

The lobby of Hotel La Mirande in Avignon

We took a spin over to Aix-en-Provence

I was so inspired by all the incredible colors and architecture I had to break out my paints.   Its been a long while since I had time to paint but I've been
working feverishly ever since we returned home.

I was going to post a few of my attempts here but I think I need to get in some
more practice
The good news is I think I have the 'art bug' once again!

These photos are like "a breath of fresh air"!~ How utterly lovely they all are!..,I always enjoy and so appreciate your encouraging and uplifting comments my dear,"ooh la la" lady!

Yes I do sound cheerful; I am thankfully and delightfully choosing to focus on "what soever is of good report and of virtue, praise"; and all that is light and lovely amidst my sufferings these days and I am by God's grace finding it marvelously healing and uplifting!

~ Thanks for inquiring about how things are going?.., Of course visiting such exquisite blogs, such as yours my dear is good medicine at anytime for anyone who is priviledged to visit your exceptional blog; who wouldn't want to tour the city of lights with you, via your blog?!?

I can hardly wait to see what you'll post next!..,

Cheers, hugs and blessings from Silken Purse

Oops, I meant to say; who wouldn't want to tour "Provence" with you, as opposed to "the city of lights".., Although I'm sure over time we can and will enjoy looking forward to both!..,

Also, I would love to see your paintings!~ Do share, mon cheri!..,

I've been to the Palais des Papes... I went on a tour and unfortunately the tour guide went a little too far into the history (the tour was like 3 hours!) but the building was amazing and the history, though long, was so rich! Enjoyed your pictures xo

Bonjour! Thank you for stopping by my blog and for your lovely compliments! These photos are just beautiful. Oh I am sooo jealous! It has been since 1995 that I stepped on French ground. Planning a trip this next April to meet my daughter in Paris. Your pics will get me by until then! I will stop back often.
Merci, Rochele
