I've been invited to a tea party and so have you! Tuesday Tea for Two is the delightful idea of Wanda from The Plumed Pen.
As you can see from her banner above she is a very talented artist. She was also one of my very first followers and had such sweet things to say about my sad little blog I was inspired to continue.
She has been under the weather lately so if you have a chance post a 'spot of tea' on your blog, link back to The Plumed Pen then stop by and let her know you've joined the tea party!
This post is a day early because I'm still in the USA
deciding what to ship over to the new place in France

But I thought I'd share a wonderful little tea salon in Paris,
just around the corner from the
Cathédrale de Notre Dame called The Tea Caddy.

A charming English tearoom in the French capital
Complete with rich, dark wood paneling
I intended to take a picture of the scones and clotted cream...they were delish...but somehow they disappeared before I could turn the camera on...mmmm!
Get Well Soon Wanda and don't forget to...

My dear friend..,
Thank you so kindly for participating in , TUESDAY TEA FOR TWO,this week!~ It was lovely!.., I would so love to visit that lovely little tearoom; "sigh", perhaps one day!
I had written you a note earlier.., (and just then, the propane delivery man came by to fill our tank and I had to greet him and give him payment; alas the commputer "timed out" and there was "a runtime error" on my computor screen; frustrating)!.., So I am re-writing this note immediately!
The other day I had to run off and take my mom's kitty for her and with her, to the aanimal emergency hospital..,(What is it with my writng you a comment, the last few days)?1?
( Then, earlier in the week late Tuesday on evening, I was yet again interupted as I had planned, in getting back to you my dear!.., When a precious, long time friend, arrived unexpectedly to stay the night, and needed to discuss the finer points of a very important project that we are working on her, with reference to her website, prior to flying home; we talked into the wee hours, as time was of the essence)!.., I apologize my dear, for the couple days of delay, as as I was genuinely so apprecicative and tickled when I saw that, despite being away on your trip home, you were able to partake!..,
I was moved by your kind comments and it lifted my spirits considerably to have you join us dear lady!.., I trust that you had an enjoyable and successful sojourn home to pack up your belongings and treasures my dear, and that you will soon wing your way safely back to France and to your beloved; although no doubt you will miss your friends and family back in the U.S.!..,
Until next time when we meet again, via our blogs, do take care and once again many thanks; it was lovely and meant more than you know!
I know you are always putting a little "Ooh la la" in your life my dear; long may you continue to do just that, (as I sure you will in spades)!.., You and your exquisite blog inspire us all to do just that!..,
Cheers, hugs and blessings from Silken Purse
P.S. I am posting my little original "perfume bottle" pictures later today on my, The Plumed Pen blog.~(That is,if you should be near a computer and get a chance to pop by my dear)..,I do realize you are busy and traveling; so perhaps later when you get a moment; you are always most welcome!
