Christmas Wishes

Only 6 more days.

We generally like to celebrate on Christmas Eve
and continue on through Christmas Day.

I tend to get a bit sentimental during the holidays.
I begin to worry that perhaps I have not done all I could for
 those most precious to me.

Will they be happy with their gifts?

Is it the right size?

 Will they enjoy the dinner?

the decorations?

the lights?

is it enough...?

So much to see and do...Whew!
Time to relax

and enjoy!

I do adore giving and receiving lovely gifts,
and I will happily continue that tradition.

But what I most wish for is to be with those I love so dearly,
in the sweet glow of  a peaceful home!

As the song goes, "diamonds are a girl's best friend"
but it cannot compare to the excitement I feel
when my honey reaches over and takes my hand in his!

To be content and  happy...
is to know  you have made those you love
content and happy.

This is my Christmas wish for all my dear blogger friends
this year and every year!

Merry Christmas!

Put a Little Ooh La La in Your Life!

Bonjour ma chèrie! What a lovely post to open to....I see that you visited our beloved NOWHERE blog! Yes, the Dutchess is a marvelous artist and kindred spirit. She had invited me, Jackie and Patricia, two other marvelous friends to join in on some fun with NOWHERE. We welcome anyone with a vivid imagination! The Dutchess is an artiste extraordinaire and writes enchanting animal stories, Jackie has a heart of gold and loves gnomes, dolls, magical fantasy and my dear Patricia is an artist of wool, dolls, marionettes, and painting. We are enjoying our journey together and please, please come with us! I love posting on NOWHERE with little quickies; my main focus at the time is writing, but I too draw. A while back on the day after Thanksgiving, I posted one of my sketches that I did in between parent teacher conferences at my school!!! Here is wishing you many fun journeys into your imagination, and if it is with us, all the better!!! Bisous, Anita

Oh, what a lovely post. I do agree with you, I worry more than I should about if they will be happy with it all. And, yes, in the end just a loving gesture is bigger than any present.

Happy Holidays,
