Patisserie Amelie

After doing a post (or two) on macarons
I had so many comments from bloggers who had never had
the pleasure of tasting one of these delicate treats.

Now for the good news!
There’s a new patisserie in town!
And if you’re in the U.S. you have the chance to experience
one of these sweet confections firsthand.

has just launched an online patisserie,
PATISS~1
The Grand Opening will feature her delicious macarons
Patisserie Amelie has been a labour of love,
with lots of hard work to perfect these
colorful bursts of flavors
Lemon, Chocolate, Pistachio, Café, Raspberry, Lavender,
Grand Marnier and Coconut
So, is your mouth watering yet?

Sweet treats Handmade with love!
Angela has just welcomed her third beautiful baby into the world – Juliette.

You have to stop by her blog just to see the
sweet photos of big brother and sister (the patisserie’s namesake).

In her own words, her interests range from Parisian window-shopping
to shopping for a new pair of garden wellies.

She also has an online boutique you need to stop by,
as well as a photography site. It is amazing how she finds the time

Bonsoir ma belle!

WE JUST FOUND A FAB SHOP here in our own backyard in Minneapolis, MN that sells these darling cookies! We celebrated our anniversary on Saturday with lunch, antiquing, dinner, antiquing, then a drive to the other side of the Twin Cities to stumble upon Sugar Sugar, a great vintage patisserie owned by a friend of Julie's from Gilded Moons...we had Pink Grapefruit and Espresso flavored macaroons! My husband swooned; it was his first time...thank you for letting me know about this source; I have visited this lovely lady before and I frequent her mom's blog as well: Savvy City Farmer!

Have a lovely Tuesday ma belle, Anita

Dear Mimi,
what a lovely and mouth-watering post about my favorite "food" ( well, rather indulgence !) from Paris... Macarons ! Oh ! I will bake a cake today , which is much less elegant, but as well yummy. My migraine has faded, and I tried the hottttt water bottle in my neck, which gave a bit of relief for the time it was there, but the pain reappeared after removing the bottle. So I sat at the Pc here , designing, with a rubber bottle tied to my neck by an elegant silk scarf. Ridiculous :-))
kind regards, Martina

Oh, this is fantastic news!!!! I, probably, have to be grateful that I am so far away from temptation of macarones - otherwise I would be eating them for breakfast, luch and dinner. :-)))) I am wishing you a wonderful day and, please, stop by my Blog to pick up your Award :-))))

Her blog is so lush, lovely, and Lord-lovin'. Plus Macarons, wow! She is a wonder and I have to see if I can talk my hubby into letting us splurge on her gorgeous delights. You are so good to spread the news.

Hi dear Mimi,
never tried original macarons (only wanna-bes) and must admit I'm quite curious to.
I bet I'd love lavender and pistachio... OMGosh, my mouth is watering already.
I'm now off to visit Angela's patisserie . Thank you for sharing the info. I'm only concerned about my diet now ... do you think yummy pics can jeopardize a diet???????
Hugs

Dear Mimi,
if only we had a patisserie of that quality near to where I live. No such luck although, perhaps that's a good thing otherwise, I might not be able to fit into any of my clothes after a month or two !!!! At least we can get Laduree macaroons in London. That's just far enough away to make them a special treat. XXXX

Oh, those macaroons look so yummy. It's a good thing that little sweet shop is not near me. I'll just admire from afar. Thanks for sharing.

What a lovely post about macaroons. We were just in a great Provence pastry shop yesterday in Naples, Florida and she had hand-made macaroons. I couldn't resist bringing home some.

Thanks for introducing us to this lovely blog. I can feel my weight climbing, but I don't care.
