French Honey & the Carousel

Kids, parents and Grandparents all having fun on the Carousel
in the Jardin des Tuileries next to the Musée du Louvre

The weather was cool and gorgeous!

Yes, I wanted a ride.

The very thought of hopping on board with all those kiddies always makes French Honey nervous,  so I usually have mercy on him, and don't say anything.

But this time, he ran over to buy the tickets and off we went round and round...

French Honey is cool and gorgeous!

Put a Little Ooh La La in Your LIfe!

A thrill a minute--much better than a roller coaster! Years ago, I ate at a restaurant just on the outskirts of Paris that had a carrousel in the restaurant. I've thought a lot about that place since then, and wondered where it was. Maybe you have heard of it?

Happy weekend,
Debi

Ah, children on carousel reminds me of my childhood in France, Germany, England and the Caribbean.
Ah, what sweet nostalgie, and in Paris, too;-)

I rode the carousel with my grand-daughter last winter. Sure makes you feel like a kid again. I have always wanted a carousel horse for display in my home....the real deal...not a replica. Those things probably cost hundreds of dollars. I do have a vintage miniature carousel music box on my website for sale. Maybe I should pull it and keep it. :) Happy Day to you Mimi. Hope Belle Inspiration is coming along nicely. xoxo
