Kids, parents and Grandparents all having fun on the Carousel
in the Jardin des Tuileries next to the Musée du Louvre
The weather was cool and gorgeous!
Yes, I wanted a ride.
The very thought of hopping on board with all those kiddies always makes French Honey nervous, so I usually have mercy on him, and don't say anything.
But this time, he ran over to buy the tickets and off we went round and round...
French Honey is cool and gorgeous!
Put a Little Ooh La La in Your LIfe!

The carousels in Paris are amazing and so much fun. Love the double decker ones too.
Beautiful! Lucky you :)
Only Paris would have carousels everywhere! Love them! xo
Summer Fun!
Some of my fondest memories as a child is going with grandpa and riding the carousel when I lived in Europe!! ...HHL
Lovely photos !
adored carousels as a child, but rode one as an adult over 40... and....uh...a little dizzy! LOL. still like seeing and hearing them immensely though!!!!
MIMI DEAREST! Yes dear, that bathtub is for YOU!!! Those roses carved on the side....wow. And I wonder if you could fine a dreamsicle in France? Or better yet, just go out and get whatever flavor they serve out there...it will be better than anything here, I'm sure!!! BISOUS MA BELLE! Anita
Oh Mimi,
I LOVE a carousel....or any fairground ride for that matter.....and, the bigger the better. Your gorgeous French honey was a star to get the tickets. I'm glad that you had fun. My mission in life is to have fun everyday !!!! XXXX
Ooh la la! How lovely! I adore carousels, they're so nostalgic! So thrilled you had fun! XX!
what a lovely carousel! i never grow
too old for them!
Sounds like the very best time!
A thrill a minute--much better than a roller coaster! Years ago, I ate at a restaurant just on the outskirts of Paris that had a carrousel in the restaurant. I've thought a lot about that place since then, and wondered where it was. Maybe you have heard of it?
Happy weekend,
Debi
carrousels are so so pretty! I think I'd like to ride the gorgeous little elephant! with the petit ladder to climb up on.

Ah, children on carousel reminds me of my childhood in France, Germany, England and the Caribbean.
Ah, what sweet nostalgie, and in Paris, too;-)
I rode the carousel with my grand-daughter last winter. Sure makes you feel like a kid again. I have always wanted a carousel horse for display in my home....the real deal...not a replica. Those things probably cost hundreds of dollars. I do have a vintage miniature carousel music box on my website for sale. Maybe I should pull it and keep it. :) Happy Day to you Mimi. Hope Belle Inspiration is coming along nicely. xoxo
I love riding the carousel! What a lovely one I see here! You share the best stuff ever Mimi! Hugs Anne
Sounds like fun....! Random question, are there any chickens perhaps on this carousel? just wondering.....(;
