Dear Mimi, After this crazy week, Anita and I are going to vanish into the weekend and recharge. Oh how I wish we cold lose ourselves in the Musée Carnavalet de Paris. Beautiful. Thank you for visiting old Rattus Scribus. Maybe he'll put on his cape and fly us over for a visit.

Oh dearest, this chaise is exactly what I am needing this WEEKEND! Oh, in my 8 year career of teaching, I have NEVER, EVER been this worn out at the beginning of the year. Having 50 kids to teach and a schedule that does not allow you to SIT or have a moment to yourself is making me ask, "How long do THEY expect us to keep this up and stay healthy?" I have laryngitis and I WELCOME this lovely photo!!!!! I am drinking tea, exercising, drawing, playing harp and tidying up my house....things I LOVE TO DO! And you my sweet friend? How are you...you must need to put up your feet after a great début and success with the mag. I am working again on the article this weekend!

Love, love, love the Musée Carnavalet! I was introducing it to a friend last weekend on a stroll through the Marais, and I grieved that we could only step inside the door on that walk around.
I could spend the whole day there--reading every word!
Superbe! the weekend is over but I could still make do with this wonderful spot next weekend or one of these evenings which are getting quite cool to let us know that summer is really over. hugs rita

This is a beautiful museum. We loved it! And the courtyard was one of our favorite gardens in Paris!
