Time to hit the books
This overflowing bookstore is located in the Latin Quarter of Paris,
not far from the Cathedrale de Notre Dame, on rue St André des Arts.
It is literally bursting at the seams,
making it a tight squeeze to get through the ailes... so I've learned to visit before lunch!
Belle Inspiration e-magazine went online on the 15th.
I want to thank everyone who made it such a success,
and sent such lovely emails - I read every one!
Here's the video sneak peek if you missed it

When I saw the photos of th ebook store and your intro of it.. I wondered if it is the "oldest book store" Mr. G and I had the privilege of discovering it on our photography tour ... oh the memeories .. I bought some very old books there and often just pull them off the shelf and hold them...

Ha! That's cute...going before you eat lunch.
Isn't there something special about old leather bound books? I love them and I would love this store.

Oh Mimi....we have so very few real old book stores here....the big box stores have taken over. I sorely miss them.

Ahh you have made my day. But oh how I wish I could spend the whole of it in this bookstore instead of toiling away at work! I will be in Paris very briefly in March and wonder if you might join me and Francoise for diner?
OH I LOVE THE LATIN QUARTER and bookstores as this one! I saw Patti Lupone as I was crossing the street my first day there!!!! OH, BELLE INSPIRATION...SO WONDERFULLLLLLL!!!! Life is still hecktic here dearest, but we will see the end of the rainbow soon as our new room is calling my attention at the moment. But fresh paint and electrical work is all that needs to be done!!!!

What a magical place. I could get lost in that bookstore. I have such an obsession with going into vintage bookstores (or clothing stores) and transporting myself to another time and place :)
Hello Mimi,
Just dropped by to give you a hug and say hi.
It sounds like the magazine is doing really well.
I hope you received my simple package I sent you the first of December...
hugs

I just filled my life with some ooh la la by subscribing to your lovely ezine. Bella! I loved the rain yesterday. Today, bright and sunny ~ Now to dash off to work, bean salad in tow...and Sylvia Plath. :) xox Alexandra
Bonsoir! Love those bookstores!
Oh what an amazing store! Andrea and I were planning our spring trip and so hope we will get to see you!
One year we stayed in an apartment one block from Luxembourg...I think we were on Rue Madame. There were tons of antique bookstores, but I never went in one...I was a bit intimidated.
Next time...
But we did enjoy Shakespeare and Co. All the dust and nooks and crannies were heavenly! Such a sense of history. I bought the Julia Child Cookbook, but I have yet to cook from it...a little too complicated :)
This bookstore looks DIVINE!!! Like you could pull up to a stack of books, in a comfy chair, and spend the whole day lost in FABULOUS adventures!!!
Thank you for the post!
