The Thrill of the Brocante in Normandy

I am very pleased to introduce you to a lovely friend of mine.
She lives in the beautiful Normandy countryside of France,
and has just recently launched Brocante Tour Weekends

Sharon will be waiting for you at the train station, a 1 hour ride from Paris.
You will have the choice of staying in her charming 2 bedroom cottage on her property,

or the Clos de Mondetour which is 5 minutes away

You'll soon feel like old friends as she drives you to lovely brocantes, delightful French restaurants, cooking classes, a private tour of a local château led by the owners, antique shop with an upclose look at restoration projects.

On Sunday, several brocante fairs await.  The thrill of the hunt usually leads to unexpected treasures.  A picnic lunch will keep you going all day.

On the way back to the train station, a stop at Claude Monet's home at Giverny.  The lily pond and garden is in full bloom at this time of the year. A final farewell lunch in the village will end this delightful weekend.

The dates for the tours are:
Friday 29 April to Monday 2 May 2011 &
Friday 24 June to Monday 27 June 2011

*She can accomodate other dates as well, and can help you with tailor-made tours for shorter or longer stays.*

Sharon has carefully thought out every detail so you are sure of a fabulous time.

Brocante Tours Weekends are a perfect add-on to a stay in Paris -

I've just come to you from Sharon's site. Both of your tours sound just wonderful and I will most definitely keep them in mind for my next jaunt to Paris.
On my blog I am currently featuring St. Nichols Churches around the world. Do you by any chance have a favorite St. Nicholas church in Paris which you would like to see featured (with a link back to you of course!)? It would be fun if so!
Blessings!
