Christmas Cheer

A fabulous weekend shopping, eating and
admiring Christmas decorations around Paris.

The carousel at the foot of the Trocadero and
overlooking the Eiffel Tower...my honey
was getting nervous as we passed by because I love to ride.
 I think it is romantic
It is definitely not his favorite thing to do, but he is sweet and patient with me,
so I let him off the hook.
Also, I couldn't bring myself to take the place of the adorable children waiting for a ride

Pardon moi for the shaky images - it was cold and rainy on Saturday night, and I just could not keep the camera steady!

Despite the rain and slick streets, the Avenue des Champs Elysées was crowded.

Window display of fine teas

Hediard, a gourmet's Heaven decked out in all its finery.

I'll be posting more boutique decorations this week.

Put a Little Ooh La La in Your Life!

But I'm confused...and behind. You met your husband in Paris??? He's French??? You moved there, from where??? When??? I must know it all.

Finally, I am finding all these French blogs, I love it!

Bonjour,

I hope I don't get lost here in your millions of comments. I have a tiny request: I'm doing a special Christmas post and I have a question for you -- your input would be great. Because I want it to be a surprise could you e-mail me so it stays "off-the-record" until it's "unwrapped"?

If you would be so kind, please e-mail me at tishjett@yahoo.com and I'll explain everything.

Merci par avance.

Tishx
