Bonne Année! - Happy New Year!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!
Have you had a chance to rest after all that celebrating?

It is hard to believe the New Year is nearly upon us.
2009 zipped by like lighning.

I'm working on new projects I hope to
share with all of you soon.
Before 2010 arrives there is still so much to do.

Thank you notes  need to be written
for all those wonderful cadeaux!

Still need to decide on the perfect dress for New Year's Eve...
perhaps Tish over at  A Femme d'Une Certain Age
has some ideas pour moi.

This one with the red roses is rather nice...
Okay, now I'm getting excited

Just a little taste before we're off to the party...

 Then make time for a
romantic walk along the River Seine

 And through charming cobblestone streets

Now this is my idea of a soirée...
I think I was born in the wrong century.

May your new year be a bowl (basket) full of cherries...
and lots of Ooh La La!

How do you plan to ring in the New Year?

Wishing you a fabulous 2010!

Put a Little Ooh La La in Your Life!

My dear Mimi,
First, may I say thanks for coming to visit me!! You are too sweet as always for your compliments and comments. I am so glad to have met you.
I can't wait for the New Year. It is always wonderful to dream about new goals and ideas. Somehow the New Year makes you feel like it is a perfect way to re-group and re-prioritize. I can't wait to see your new projects you have up your sleeve. Do you have any trips around France you will be taking us on? I just love your travels and can't wait for your wonderful stories and photos.
My guess is that you will have a very romantic New Year's eve in Paris with your honey, n'est pas?
I hope you find a beautiful dress to wear for your celebration. I'm sure your honey will find you simply ravashing, even if your dress doesn't have roses on it!!
I wish you a happy, healthy, fun filled New Year. May 2010 treat you well and may our friendship continue to bloom!
XoXo
Gail

I will think of you when I am tucking the dogs in!

Hey Sweetie! I appreciate your sweet comments on my Mommie Dearest post...I hope for a wonderful reunion for Jerry and I, and was ok while he was texting me, but the farther he gets out to sea, the harder it is to communicate. I get lonely and a little depressed when I don't hear from him. I guess I will just have to keep myself busy. On a brighter note, he says he is taking me on a cruise to Canada in August! Yay! Hope you have a fabulous New Year honey. I feel so blessed to have met you this year. Kori xoxo
