Ohhh how lovely! Snow at Christmas time, in Paris. :-)

I used to Net-know a young man who worked near Paris, and remember how he so wanted snow on Christmas. If he is still living in Paris, I hope he is happy with it. :-)

Wonderful. We don't get snow here in Northern California - unless we drive up to the mountains. Your photos make me nostalgic for places I have lived where it does snow, New York, London. The last snowstorm I saw was in Shanghai. Yours is so lovely. Thanks.

How is it that you can continually make Paris look more and more inviting? These are just lovely photos from your windows. Don't you just love when the snow kisses the branches on the trees so delicately?
It's like heaven.
We are actually expecting a major snow storm tomorrow...up to 10 inches of snow. It will be so much fun to look out the window at the beautiful snow and play Christmas elf this weekend! I can't wait!!
Enjoy your winter wonderland!

Yes, we had a thin blanket of snow when we woke up this morning. We live in a town named...Paris...so I have "ooh la la" every day. No, it's not France, but I try to make it as European in my home and romance, romance, romance as I possibly can.

Rita said...

My dear Mimi,
your Paris uner a snow blanket looks so charming. Must be awfully cold but still what you are sharing with us is so romantique.
it hardly ever snow where I live but being in this artic cold wave we might get some as well. It's also quite cold for us, but not yet below zero, so still bearable. And, after all, the holiday season is keeping us warm inside and that's what counts most. Enjoy your Christmas
warm hugs

BEAUTIFUL! I love winterscapes with snow and ice. Your view is absolutely wonderful. I've added several evergreens to my yard in the past few years just so I can have a winter-wonderland view.

PS Thank you for the comment you left on my post. I'd be honored for your to share any of my photos.

Here in Washington, DC we received somewhere between 18-24 inches of snow in the last 2 days! The sun is out now and it won't take that long to melt because the snow was so light and fluffy. But it does still look very nice!

Paris in the snow must be so beautiful!!

Wishing you and your loved ones a wonderful Christmas!
