Just a Little Something

Now I know that none of you want anything at all from
your sweetheart this Valentine’s Day.

 Uh Hmmm!!

But just in case you change your mind here’s a few ideas

DSC00880The weather is still wintery
but Dior is ready for Spring with these
fabulous laced peep-toes

DSC00881 I'll pass on the white bag
because I saw what was in the next window

DSC00879 This is the most luscious blue – even better in person

DSC00898 Pink in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés

DSC00889redo  Yes, I know I know.  There has been an
overload of Laduree in blogland

DSC00887 redo But then again maybe not

DSC00888redoNot sure I want to try one of these though...oh why not

DSC00891redoA few candles to set the mood

DSC00902 redo Of course we can’t forget the men…they'd like a gift too.
If your sweetie is a reader,
you're bound to find something here
(please forgive me for saying that I couldn't help myself)

James if you’re reading this, I’m sure you would agree.
If you have not met this gentleman over at
Man of the 50's
you should head over for a visit now.
DSC00884  Look at the wonderful leather covers
DSC00885redo and gilt bindings

Just a few little things to put on your wishlist.

Do you have something special on yours?

You have wonderful taste! I'll go for any one of those items on your shopping list. I like the white purse best...and who can resist leather bound anything?

Those leather bound books are just screaming my name, but I would be thrilled with everything that you have on your list. Who am I kidding? I would just be happy with one of those luscious boxes from Laduree. I saved both the boxes and bags from our last visit to Laduree, as I am a softie for wonderful packaging. I love the yummy pink! Hope your Valentine's plans are shaping up. My hubby has to work that day, so I have to think of something very creative. Thanks for sharing all your lovely pictures, of how I wish I could be there in person, and right now!

I don't think there can ever be an overload of Laduree ;-) I do adore their Valentine's boxes, but I haven't gotten a chance to buy some of their delights for a while. Love the image of the book store as well... nothing can beat old leather-bound issues!

For as much as my husband does love gestures each day..to me and the girls...Valentine's and romantical days are not emphasized around here. And I am as guilty as the rest of the brood. But This year I do want David and I to do some special notes and treats for our precious little women.

I wish you and your love a Happy Valentines Day. I wanted to let you know I have awarded you with a Best Blog Award. Not knowing the proper ettiquette (sp) I posted the rules and then added my own but I meant it primarily as a compliment to your gorgeous blog and dreamy Parisian scenes. God Bless you.

ChHello M~
I just love a good book and not necessarily for it's content. No, I love beautiful leather bound books to display all over the house. Stacks of books with some of them open and the pages arranged in a pretty fashion, or a few stacked and propped with unusual bookends. Some of my favorite books are those with the leather spines and the pretty marbelized covers,Yummy!
Thanks for the lovely feminine images from Lauree and Dior too, How can you resist them????????? Did I mention my fascination with beautifully fragrant candles? I'll save that for another time:)

Have a wonderful day!!
XoXo

Oh my heavens, Mimi! Is that a bookstore in that picture (the one with all the books stacked all over?) If it is, you must let me know where it is, because that is where I want to breath my last breath! Oooooh, I can almost smell the musty leather volumes. What a wonderful wonderful place!
