Time for another Paris Postcarte.
Musée Galliera - Musée de la Mode de la Ville de Paris
If you love fashion this is the perfect museum for you.
A former residence this small sized venue features styles from the
18 century to the present, and hosts many interesting exhibits.
These stunning black and white images adorn the back of the building.
Let's grab a seat on the bench while we decide where to go next.

Bonjour Mimi,
I am sitting here completely drooling on my lovely desk thanks in part to you!
This museum has me in a tizzy..I have got to make a trip there and see this lovely structure. The exquisite photos adorning the back are breathtaking.
THANK YOU so much for sharing this find, I will not be in Europe until next Spring but this is most definitely my first stop.
And thank God your computer is up and running once again, we would be so lost without you and your lovely sense of style and grace.
Cheers my friend!

Good morning dear Mimi,
have you been inside ? This look great ! I didn´t know that you have such a museum there. I would love to see all dresses and maybe some "famous" like one of Grace Kelly or Audrey Hepburne :-)
Regarding your computer: I hope that you can fix it ? Do you need my last email again ?
Have a nice day !

Bonjour Mimi. Computers can be rubbish sometimes - I now back up everything on an external drive...just in case. Anyway, lovely pictures, that black and white fashion photography in combination with the old building is just gorgeous. Have a lovely weekend, Love from London x

Bonjour precious Mimi!
Paris ANYTIME of the day is a great idea! It is 4:00am here and I am so tired from a yard sale that we had this Saturday...meaning that my attempt to write my post in the fashion in which I was hoping to present to YOU is half-baked. Wanting to post so as to not bore my readers with the same OLD post from last week, I wanted to post something, but with glassy and tired eyes and thoughts, what you will see is only the beginning of what I would consider an entry. My thoughts were about TALKING ABOUT each step of how we dreamed, planned, survived disappointments and trials and then kept on persevering in order to bring us to the point of WAITING for the right moment to start renovating. However, time was a factor and did not allow me to finish. So..if you visit me you will see only a snippit and suggestion of what my mind was envisioning!!!!
In touch, Anita
Ma belle Mimi! Yes! 4:00am...that was the time I started to blog, but I actually got up about 3:30am....so yes, we do have much in common! I don't know if it's menopause or just a "zest for livin'", but I so love to get up before my husband and plot and plan, write and draw or dream!!!
So, as you can see, my post was not as detailed or focused as I would want, but this last week has been very busy.
Have a perfect day in Paris! Anita
I will have to be sure to check out that museum next time I make it back there!! xo
