In France this is what the time between the end of the summer holidays

and the start of the new school year is called.

Books, paints, pencil cases, so many things to buy

and all in chocolate! 

Everything you see here is chocolate. 

I love these marbled book covers. 

Found this in the Marais in Paris, but was so busy looking (drooling) I forgot to get the name.

I may need to go back to get that for you...LOL

Stopped for tea today at L'Heure Gourmande

Tucked away from the crowds and easy to miss.  We were the first ones to arrive for lunch.  

We prefer to eat before or after the rush, it is so much more realxing.

  It was a bit chilly when we arrived, but once the sun came out we moved 

outside for dessert and café.

The weather has been sunny and gorgeous for the past 5 weeks. 

We had some much needed rain, today the sunshine slowly made an appearance today.

It is time to unglue myself from the computer and 

prendre une marche (take a walk)!

Won't you join me?  Of course, we'll have to stop to refuel...there is a delicious patisserie

along the way...actually there are several patisseries along the way...
