My honey and I were strolling along St-Germain-des-Pres and spied these sisters.

They are American.  The one in pink was waltzing along, train and all. 

Their father gave us the okay to snap their photo, but they suddenly turned shy!

On a trip to a nearby antique shop I found these very versatile black jet beads.


 You can easily double or triple the strands for lots of possibilities.

They are in good shape with a gold toned clasp

I have a few strands similar to these and wear them often.

They add a touch of elegnace to any outfit.

Yesterday was Bastille Day in France.

Unfortunately it rained throughout the big parade,

but it cleared up just in time for the fireworks at La Tour Eiffel

Time for another Paris Postcarte.

If you love fashion this is the perfect museum for you. 

  

A former residence this small sized venue features styles from the 

18 century to the present, and hosts many interesting exhibits. 

These stunning black and white images adorn the back of the building. 

Let's grab a seat on the bench while we decide where to go next.

So rather than bore everyone with a play by play account of our

sweet fairytale

(well it is to me anyway),

I’ll share a “snippet” every so often.

Not necessarily about us,

but things to do and see in the City of Love...uh, City of Lights

for those who are in love –

or will be in love one day!

  

Or if you just love French style

Obviously that is what I already do here on this blog,

but I hope to make one small change.

I’d like to begin posting video snippets so you can see la joie de vie for yourself

 Not sure if it will work and maybe it won’t.

I’m not exactly a film maker.
