To thank all of you for being so kind!

Found this incredible sculpture just across from the Jardin de Luxembourg

Most people zipped right past then backtracked for a closer look.

Bon week-end!

Before I sign off I want to show you these two adorable little girls.

My honey and I were strolling along St-Germain-des-Pres and spied these sisters.

They are American.  The one in pink was waltzing along, train and all.

Their father gave us the okay to snap their photo, but they suddenly turned shy!

 Cute as a button!

Giveaway & Bastille Day Video

I'm late yet again posting about the giveaway I promised for this week.

Better late than never!

On a trip to a nearby antique shop I found these very versatile black jet beads.

You can easily double or triple the strands for lots of possibilities.

They are in good shape with a gold toned clasp

I have a few strands similar to these and wear them often.

They add a touch of elegnace to any outfit.

Bonne chance!

Yesterday was Bastille Day in France.

Unfortunately it rained throughout the big parade,

but it cleared up just in time for the fireworks at La Tour Eiffel

Here is a short video of the festivities

We had a great spot at the foot of the Eiffel Tower

(Disclaimer: I warned you I am not a filmmaker...)

Paris Postcarte - Musée Galliera

Time for another Paris Postcarte.

Musée Galliera - Musée de la Mode de la Ville de Paris

If you love fashion this is the perfect museum for you.

A former residence this small sized venue features styles from the

18 century to the present, and hosts many interesting exhibits.

These stunning black and white images adorn the back of the building.

Let's grab a seat on the bench while we decide where to go next.

Giveaway update:

I am late posting about the giveaway I promised for this week.

My computer crashed, hard drive and all!

Not pretty, but I'm up and running again.

I will have the giveaway post ready next week - promise!

Put a Little Ooh La La in Your Life!

Changes

I’ve been so surprised and touched by all the emails I’ve received

requesting more installments of

my uh hmmm, love story!

(Click here to read how we met )

Okay I admit this image is a bit (alot) over the top!

What can I say, I am a hopeless romantic

We are extremely private,

as you can see from the strategically blacked-out  photo above!!

All the special details are…well, a little too special to blab about.

Does that make any sense?

So rather than bore everyone with a play by play account of our

sweet fairytale

(well it is to me anyway),

I’ll share a “snippet” every so often.

Not necessarily about us,

but things to do and see in the City of Love...uh, City of Lights

for those who are in love –

or will be in love one day!

Or if you just love French style

Obviously that is what I already do here on this blog,

but I hope to make one small change.

I’d like to begin posting video snippets so you can see la joie de vie for yourself

Not sure if it will work and maybe it won’t.

I’m not exactly a film maker.

What do you think?

Do you like the idea of “video snippets”?

Don't forget about the giveaway next week!
